I qualified as a Chartered Psychologist in 2000 when I started my NHS career in East  London  where I worked in Primary and Secondary Care as well as Specialist Care. I currently work in a Perinatal Community Mental Health Team based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

I have extensive experience of working with teenagers, adults and older adults,

with a special interest and knowledge in Perinatal Mental Health, Personality Disorder and trauma.

I have been a Consultant Psychologist since 2011. I am a Chartered Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and
have a BSc, MSc and doctoral-level Diploma in Counselling Psychology.

​

Having trained in Eye Movement Desentisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2009, I became an Accredited  Practitioner in 2017 and  an EMDR Consultant in 2021. 

​

In 2018, I became an accredited Mindfulness Teacher with the Mindfulness Association and attend regular retreats in Samye Ling Monastery.
